The Central Community School Board shall elect a Superintendent for the school system who has met or has been certified as meeting the minimum requirements for Superintendency Certification as set by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE). Additional qualifications may be stipulated by the School Board, including but not limited to the following:
Shall be of good character and of unquestionable morals and
Shall possess good judgment and common sense along with the
ability to think clearly and independently, relying on facts instead
Shall demonstrate high business and educational ability and
Shall be able and willing to accept responsibility.
Shall have a strong personality and capacity for maintaining the respect of educational leaders in neighboring parishes and in the State of Louisiana.
Applicants for the position of Superintendent shall be required to provide assurance that certification for the position is current and valid.
